RLK Ministries Prayer Chain

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the Prayer Ministry of RLK Ministries!

RLK Ministries and everyone on the prayer chain team is committed to praying for every need set before us. We are devoted to serving God and each other through prayer.

"But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word."

- Acts 6:4

Jesus Christ Himself was committed to prayer and so should we be.

"But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray"

- Luke 5:16

He made prayer a constant priority and He role modeled for us a prayerful life. In the Gospels, He modeled for us how we should and should not pray. We should also make prayer a priority in our walk with Him.

"It was at this time that he went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God." -Luke 6:12

Prayer is not only great just for each of us individually – but it also goes a long way to build up the body of Christ in love and unity. Prayer can tear down walls,  heal lives and relationships, and so much more.

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accompish much." -James 5:16

God is not afraid of our honest and obedient prayer. He wants us to call out to Him with all of our needs. (Even those requests and concerns we don’t think He cares about!) He wants to hear from us individually and corporately. There’s no better way to express all of our needs, concerns, love, adoration, etc.,  but through prayer.  Simply and reverently going before Him and talking with Him. Being transparent and pouring out ourselves - our hearts to Him.  Crying out to Him in the times of plenty and in the times of need.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." -Philippians 4:6

When you pray, especially during trials and times of need, it is a truly humbling experience. God desires our humble prayers. God hears our prayers as we seek Him.

Whether you are a part of our prayer team or not, RLK Ministries would like to encourage you to make prayer a part of your daily life. Just as much as you need air to breath, as a believer, you need prayer as a vital part of your life and personal growth.

..."and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place." -2 Chronicles 7:14-15

We can make a difference together through prayer!

The RLK Ministries Prayer Chain is sent out once a day on average as prayer requests, praises, and updates are sent to us. The requests are compiled, edited, and then sent via e-mail to the prayer chain team distribution list. All e-mail addresses are protected.

Note: All prayer requests go through a review and editing process by RLK Ministries to insure requests are concise and appropriate for the general audience. RLK Ministries takes the ministry God has given us very seriously and we do our utmost to protect the trust He has given us. It is for this very reason that some requests will not be shared on this chain because they may not be appropriate. Thank you for your understanding of our commitment and responsibility as we labor to fulfill our call.

"If we meet and you forget me, you have lost nothing;
but, if you meet JESUS CHRIST and forget Him, you have lost everything."
